Suly Driver is a private app for registered bus drivers in Sulaymaniyah, part of the KURDbus initiative. It is not intended for passengers — passengers should use the KURDbus app instead.
2. Data we collect
To make the app work, we collect:
Login email — provided by our team. Used only to sign you in.
Bus plate number and selected line — entered by you at the start of each shift.
Live GPS location — collected only while a shift is active. Stops the moment you tap "End Shift" or log out.
3. How we use it
Your bus's live location is shared with passengers using the KURDbus app, so they can see which bus is coming and when. We do not use your data for advertising, marketing, or any third-party purpose.
4. Where it is stored
Data is stored on Supabase, a secure cloud service. Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS.
5. How long we keep it
Live position: erased shortly after your shift ends.
Position history: kept for up to 90 days for service improvement, then deleted.
Driver account: kept while you are an active driver. Removed within 30 days of deactivation.
6. What we do NOT collect
We do not collect your name, photo, age, or phone number.
We do not track you across other apps or websites.
We do not sell your data to anyone.
We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, or camera.
We do not collect any location when you are not on shift.
7. Third-party services
Suly Driver uses OpenStreetMap to display maps. Map tiles are loaded directly from OpenStreetMap servers. See the OpenStreetMap Privacy Policy for their data practices.
8. Your rights
You can request a copy of your data.
You can ask us to delete your account and history.
You can stop sharing location at any time by ending your shift.
9. Children
This app is intended for licensed bus drivers and is not suitable for children.
